New Volunteer Role - Rec Club Chair

Another great opportunity to get involved with the running of the club...especially if you enjoy the social side !

The Rec Club is a key revenue stream for the club and Liphook & Ripsley is looking for a volunteer to help this element grow. This role for someone looking to gain experience in the leisure and hospitality field and add to their CV or just simply a player or family member who wants to get more involved in another area of the club.

The role would entail leading the Rec Club committee to deliver the following tasks and
responsibilities:

The role should include, but not be limited to the following:

 Keeping and maintain an inventory and ensuring the bar is well stocked for snacks and
beverages.
 Select and purchase snacks and drinks, including liaising with suppliers as appropriate.
 Either attending club committee meetings or providing a report on the previous month’s
activity with recommendations.
 Track and analyse purchases with a view to enhancing sales and minimise waste.
 Seek volunteers to help run the bar on Monday and Tuesday nights (youth training) and on
matchday’s/evenings.
 Oversee and manage social events at the club during season and off season.
 Chairing the annual meeting of the Rec club.
 Liaising with the club treasurer over rec club revenues and expenditure.
