Penns Place is our second ground, situated right on the Eastern edge of Petersfield with nothing but the South Downs beyond. The ground is bordered by mature trees to the East and South, with the imposing 1970's facade of the East Hampshire District Council offices to the West. To our north are practice grounds used by the neighbouring Petersfield Rugby Club, beyond which are more mature trees. The humble wooden pavilion (some might say 'hut') might be on its last legs, but provides comfortable home and away changing rooms, and has been host to some of the best teas in the league.
Avoid the town centre and use the A3 bypass, leaving at the A272 Petersfield/Midhurst junction. At the first roundabout after leaving the A3 take 1st exit signposted Midhurst/Sheet. After 100m turn right into Pulens Lane then after 1/2 mile turn left into Durford Road. At the T junction (after a wiggle) at end turn left into Penns Place. Pass over speed bumps and turn right immediately before the first building on the right. This road will lead to a car park adjacent to the ground to the side of the council building.
