It was a win for the first game of the season and a great all round team performance from everyone.

Winning the toss and choosing to field, the bowlers took advantage of the hot, dry conditions to keep the wickets falling at a steady rate. There was some top-notch wicket keeping from Luke and Stanley, wickets from Freddie, George, Archie and two from Oliver.
Tight fielding, excellent backing-up and good, clear communication kept them in control of the scoring.

Chasing a target of 147 George and Luke took on some speedy bowling as the openers and got the scoreboard moving quickly. Oliver and Archie followed up with a flurry of boundaries and Stanley and Shea completed the run chase with 5 wickets and 3 overs to spare.

A thoroughly enjoyable game and an excellent win. Well done all.
