Grayswood batted first and despite losing Henry Rigden with the score on 6, Kent Chapman (25) and Charlie Loveday (14) built promising innings to take Grayswood to 90/2, but when Will Nash (52) and Johnny Howard were both run out with the score on 90 the advantage started to swing back towards Liphook. Andrew Pickup added 23 and a useful last wicket partnership of 32 between Stuart Chapman (17 no) and Richard Rigden (8 no) took Grayswood to 182/9 after a score they may have felt comfortable in defending. The wickets were shared amongst the Liphook bowlers, with Richard Jarrett, Ross Seavill and Richard Grimes each taking two each.
John Strong held the Liphook innings together with a determined 44 not out, allowing the Liphook batsmen a degree of freedom, and they chased the target down in only 23 overs, with Richard Jarrett (45), Ross Seavill (29) and Andy Grimes (31) doing the damage. Liphook win by 7 wickets to claim their 5th consecutive victory
