Reckon you can catch better than Frank?

There’s no doubt that 2019 will be one of the most exciting summers for British cricket ever.

And now it has just got a little bit more exciting with the launch of the Kingfisher Drone Catch World Cup.

Kingfisher are looking to recruit 10 passionate cricket fans to try and break the world record for catching a cricket ball from a drone. The current record stands at 80m and was set by top Australian wicket keeper Alyssa Healy, roughly the height of a twenty storey building.

Kingfisher are looking for participants to take part and believe the best place to start is with the passionate cricket fans and players at our cricket club.

All participants will receive a case of Kingfisher Beer, as well as a personalised cricket shirt. And the winner will get a day at the Gray-Nicolls factory in East Sussex, where they will have a bespoke bat hand-crafted for them by the experts who make them for many of the world’s top players, including Alistair Cook. A truly money-can’t-buy prize!

If this wasn’t exciting enough, the event will be held at “one of the most beautiful grounds in England”, Wormsley Cricket Ground.

To enter, applicants will be required to send an email to dronecatch@kingfisherbeer.co.uk and explain in 50 words or less why they should be chosen to take part in this incredible event and which country they wish to represent.
